We’ve released another round of updates across OSL Office and OSL Commercial, including improvements to listings, legal information, OneRoof links, contacts, property features and commercial lease management.
You can now identify and market a property as a New Build.
Open the Listing Details tab, go to the Legal section and select the Age – NEW checkbox.
This allows the property to be identified as new throughout OSL and on websites that support NEW builds.
The OneRoof eye link is now working.
Simply click the eye icon beside a listing to open the property directly on OneRoof — there’s no need to search for it manually.
We have also improved the way OSL determines the correct portal link. OSL will now use the listing's OneRoof Site ID first and, where that is not available, use the website linkback provided by the portal.
If no valid link is available, the eye icon will not be displayed.
We have improved the way living rooms are recorded and displayed.
A new Living Room/s feature icon is now available and can optionally be included on property flyers.
The Living Room icon has also been added to OSL Websites.
We have removed the additional Separate Living Room option, which was causing some confusion.
For New Zealand offices, OSL can now retrieve selected legal property information directly from LINZ.
Open the Legal window from a Listing or Appraisal and click Find Legal Info.
OSL uses the property's map location to look up available LINZ information and can populate:
Lot
DP
CT/RT
Title type
Existing information is protected — Lot, DP and CT/RT are only filled when those fields are empty.
The Title is only updated where no title has been selected, or where it is currently set to Unknown, and only where LINZ returns a single recognised Freehold or Leasehold title.
Nothing is saved automatically. You can review the information first and then click Save when you are happy with it.
A confirmation message shows what information has been added and includes the appropriate LINZ attribution.
The Image Editor toolbar has been refreshed, making the image editing tools cleaner and easier to use.
We have extended the contact rating system.
You can now give your potential Vendors and Sellers their own star rating, helping your team identify and prioritise important seller opportunities independently from other contact ratings.
We have also released a number of improvements specifically for OSL Commercial users.
OSL can now automatically alert you when an important commercial lease date is approaching.
You can receive an email alert 90 days before:
A Lease Renewal date
A Lease Expiry date
Simply enter the lease details in OSL and we’ll take care of the reminder.
The Commercial Lease panel has been refreshed to make entering and managing lease information clearer and easier.
A new Tenant option has been added to Commercial, making it easier to record and manage tenant information against your properties and leases.
Commercial users can now more easily match available properties against tenant requirements.
We have also improved the Buyer/Tenant matching process to provide more useful results.
Floor Area is now displayed in the property matching results, making it easier to quickly determine whether an available commercial property meets a tenant or buyer's space requirements.
Commercial Lease Renewal and Lease Expiry activities are now created automatically from the lease information you enter.
This helps ensure important lease dates remain visible without requiring users to manually create separate activities or reminders.
These updates are now available in OSL Office and OSL Commercial.
As always, if you have any questions about using any of these features, use Help > Contact Support from within OSL.
