Privacy Act changes when Running Open Homes

In this update we have made some changes to the the Run an Open Home feature to meet the new Privacy Act;

These changes include;

1./ Added the office privacy statement (if your Office has a privacy statement loaded it will appear on the visitor registration screen)

2./ Added the option for the visitors to receive and email of your office privacy policy

 

If your Office does not have a Privacy statement loaded, it can be loaded on the Office Settings > Profile > Privacy Statement tab

Our Privacy policy statement is to assist you in understanding how we collect and use the personal information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our services.
This information is being provided for the purposes of Security (to provide details to Police in case of theft or other crime); and Marketing (by contacting people after an open home) 
We may use the information you provide for our business purposes, to understand your needs and provide you with a better service.
We may share this information with governmental agencies. We may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place.

  • Personal information is not provided to these entities for marketing purposes.
  • Your information is not made available to any organisation outside our company subject to the governmental agencies referred to above
  • Partial information may be supplied to the Vendor
  • You can request a copy of the personal information that we hold about you and request correction of that information.
  • You can request a copy of this Privacy policy/statement
  • We may make changes to our Privacy Policy from time to time
